Home Birth Photography in Raleigh NCWhen repeat clients message me right when they find out they are pregnant - I feel extremely special being a part of such treasured news! I was with this family for the birth of their third babe at Women's Birth and Wellness Center. This birth was already shaping up to take on such a different feel! Mama has quick labors and it was no surprise she and her husband chose to have a home birth in Raleigh NC.Mama called me at 3am to tell me she thought today was the day but it wasn't time yet. That morning I set up all the childcare for the day so that when I got 'the call' I was ready. Sure enough, as soon as I dropped my youngest off at Preschool she called to tell me not to 'rush' over but I should think about coming soon. Knowing how her last birth went I immediately started to hurry - sorry mama but I knew better! I am glad I left when I did because I was only with them for about an hour before Miss Ellie came fast and furious into the arms of her mama. It was a beautiful experience to watch her face light up when she realized that she had another daughter! Baby girl was born with so much frosting (vernix) - the most I think I have ever seen!!The older kids had early release from school so I waited around to capture their first moments meeting their baby sister.
